Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS), also known as UDUSOK, is a publicresearch university located in the city of Sokoto, in north-western Nigeria.
It is one of the initial twelve universities founded in Nigeria by the federal government in 1975.[2]
Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto motto is "Ikraa", which means "Read".

The main campus houses faculties of Agriculture, Arts, Arabic and Islamic Studies, Education, Engineering, Law, Life Sciences, social sciences, Physical and Computing Scien
